Sessions available for in-person or online
When you arrive
We are located in the E2 Suite at 307 S. Friendswood Dr. This suite is located behind a fence that separates our lot from the flooring store that faces the road. Just drive or walk around the fence corner and you will see our space. There should be plenty of parking!
The intent is for even the waiting room to be a place of healing and comfort for you. There is coffee, water, mints for you. It should not be too long of a wait until your therapist calls you into their office of empathy.
First session and following sessions
For your first session, your therapist will spend some time gathering vital information and getting to know you a little bit. They will have some basic information to go over with you- making sure you know what you have signed before proceeding.
The following sessions will largely be dictated on the partnership between you and your therapist- including chosen goals and treatment modality. You will be treated with warmth and with unconditional positive regard and acceptance.
Our Approach
If you are meeting on-line, you will have received an email with a link taking you to your client portal. That link will connect you directly with your counselor. You should receive a reminder the day before and day of. If you think there is an error, please reach out and let us know. You will be received with warmth and acceptance as you share in a highly secure space with your therapist.
How long will this last?
Therapy should never last longer than you need, and it should not be shorter than you need. It is important that you and your therapist keep track of progress amde and an eye towards completion of goals. Each session will last approximately 50 minutes unless otherwise specified by your therapist. It could be at some point your therapist suggests you find someone specialized. This is not a reflection on you, but on our goal of making sure you are getting the best service possible. It is also possible your therapist will need to confer with other therapist, but they will have you sign an ROI (release of information). We want to uphold your privacy above all things.
