If you’re sick of trying to stop your addiction on your own and ready to do what it takes to heal, then you’ve come to the right place. I believe that recovery comes one step at a time, and that’s what we will
do in coaching — identify the challenges you’re facing and charting a path forward one step at a time. I believe that recovery beings by learning to cope with life in a healthy way and learning to get outside of
your isolation to connect with God and others. It’s not just about stopping your behavior, but about growing, healing, and transforming into the person that God designed you to be.
My specific passion in helping men with sexual addiction is to help them regain hope that they really can change, and to experience in their core that even in their failures that God loves, accepts them, and is proud of them. My approach is anchored in the truth of Romans 2:4, that it is “God’s kindness that leads us to repentance.” I believe that change happens when people feel seen, accepted, and loved for who they are, and that a space of kindness is what provides the safe space to work through our most painful challenges.
I am trained as a Pastoral Sexual Addiction Professional (PSAP) and a Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC). I earned an MTS in Christian Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
and have worked in church and Christian nonprofit settings over the years. I am currently studying as a candidate for the MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Fort Hays State University.
In my free time, I love doing handyman and remodeling work, watching Parks and Recreation, reading a good book, cooking, and spending time with my wife and two cats.
