Previous to becoming a full-time counselor, Benjamin served for 20 years in full-time ministry in various contexts- church, parachurch, missionary. He continues his life call of working towards shalom by leveraging his counseling training to walk alongside of you. His favorite passage is
Most of his time is spent working with sexual addiction clients utilizing his Certification in Sexual Addiction Therapy (CSAT) and the subsequent fallout of marriage betrayal with APSATS training. Additionally, he is trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, for individual counseling. For marriage counseling, he is trained in EFT, Gottman, and PACT.
He has three amazing children. His favorite affinities are basketball, sci-fi/hero/fantasy stories, movies, and enjoying nature. In addition to Jesus, he has learned a lot from his dad, Mr. Rogers, his mentor Jim Herrington, and the many men and women he has served alongside.
